After all my friend’s luck with sturgeon I got into a really bad mood and went to give it another shot solo from shore. Came in around 3. Tides were “just like when it was biting yesterday”!
No real action up until about 6 something. It was already dark and I was chatting with a guy who was on his way home. He did not have any luck that day eather.
My dear wife called. The moment I said hello dude yells that I am getting a bite. Can not drop the phone since I am in the dirt! Rod if almost flying into the water! Setting the hook with one hand! Line get’s tangled on the rod stand! Fish is gone! This all happened in half a second so next thing my wife heard on the phone after hello was the entire list of Russian and American curse words.
Fished for another 4 hours. Did not get a decent bite. Went hope.
If you followed the previous post this was at least a day when I saw bite! Did not see sturgeon bite for month before that day!
