Took us a bit of time to decide where to go. Voted for South Bay again. Went with regular crew.
Fishery supply ran out of grass shrimp. Took ghost. Laine’s Bait, being as inconsistent as they always are, happened to have grass shrimp. Took half a pound.
Full outgoing tide was expected till about noon. Went to Guadalupe Slough. Pretty much nothing all outgoing. We were finally ready to pull up and move for the incoming. I picked one rod to reel in and Alex yelled that we got a bite. Super bottom on the tide! Full slack tide.
Got this 54 incher! Moved for outgoing. Stayed till 2PM. Got nothing. Left. Still good trip!
