With the hopes still high after yesterday I wanted to catch something myself!
Took my little beautiful Sophia, loaded bikes and all we go.
Yura was already there fishing solo. We broke his solo heaven a little bit. Well, at least Sonya is fun and we know what we are doing so we did not bug him too much 😛
I screwed one bite on the spinning rod. Not using spinning gear for sturgeon ever again. My hands forgot how to use it. Sad.
Around 5PM I get a real real decent bite! Fish on!
Turns out to be a huge one. Great running after fish! Thank you to folks who reeled in to let me go by with the fish on.
Sonya has a blast watching me reeling in the fish.
Water was pretty low do we had to go knee deep into the mud to get it. Ended up being 63 inches. Too big. Had to let it go. What a great fish!
